- Prevents uncontrolled blasting and improves operator safety
Installation Guidelines
- Attach handle to blast hose near the nozzle using hose clamps or heavy-duty wire ties
- Create a strain-relief loop in the control cord:
- 6" away from hose
- 6" parallel
- 6" back to hose
- Secure loop endpoint with duct tape (wrap twice around cord, then around hose)
- Continue securing cord to hose every 3 feet
Important Safety Warning
- The chain must be secured around the operator’s wrist at all times
- Do NOT use without the ball & chain properly attached
- Failure to follow safety instructions may result in unsafe operation
Performance Advantages
- Allows in-field repairs instead of full replacement
- Reduces downtime and maintenance costs
- Reliable operation in abrasive environments
- Essential safety control for blasting systems
