Proper Remote-Control Attachment Instructions

(Clean, formatted version of OEM guidance)

Follow these steps for safe, reliable installation:

1. Secure the Deadman Handle

  • Attach the handle to the blast hose near the nozzle using hose clamps or heavy wire ties.

2. Create a Strain-Relief Loop

Make a 6–6–6 loop with the twin-line/control cord:

  • 6" away from the blast hose

  • 6" parallel to the hose

  • 6" back to the hose

Secure this loop by:

  • Wrapping duct tape twice around the twin-line, then around the blast hose.

(This is only needed at the first connection near the handle.)

3. Tape the Twin-Line Along the Hose

  • Starting from the nozzle end, wrap duct tape around the twin-line and blast hose every 3 feet.

This prevents strain, preserves hose life, and ensures consistent remote operation.
