The GP 100679 Thermosensor is a genuine OEM General Pump thermal relief valve designed to protect pressure washer pumps from damaging heat buildup while operating in bypass mode. When water temperature inside the pump rises to unsafe levels, the thermosensor automatically opens and discharges a small amount of hot fluid.

How It Works

• Pump enters bypass mode → water temperature rises

• At 190°F, the thermosensor opens

• Hot water is discharged through the bleed port

• Cooler water enters the pump and lowers temperature

• Valve closes automatically when normal flow resumes
