A properly carried and functioning radio is essential for Bullard’s Man-Down motion sensor, which alerts nearby BCX radios if a user becomes immobile.

How LWP works:

1. Pre-Alert: Radio detects no motion → issues warning beep

2. Alert: Continued immobility → broadcasts voice alert (e.g., “APPI Com 2 immobile”)

3. Active only when connected to at least one other BCX radio

The lanyard ensures the radio stays oriented correctly for reliable sensor performance.
