The GP 100680 Thermosensor is a genuine OEM General Pump thermal relief valve designed to protect pressure washer pumps from damaging heat buildup during bypass operation. When a system runs in bypass, water temperature can rise rapidly inside the pump—this thermosensor automatically opens at a preset temperature to discharge a small amount of heated fluid.

How It Works

• Pump enters bypass mode → internal temperature increases

• At 190°F, the thermosensor opens

• Heated water is discharged through the bleed port

• Cooler water enters the pump and reduces temperature

• Valve closes automatically when normal flow resumes
