BCX radios include a Man-Down motion sensor that requires the radios to be fully functional and safely stored when not in use. Proper storage helps preserve the radios’ sensors and power systems.

LWP functions:

1. Pre-Alert: Lack of motion triggers warning beep

2. Alert: Continued immobility → vocal alert broadcast to team radios

3. LWP works only when the radio is linked to at least one other unit
