The Bullard HMXS4000 Tychem® 4000 (SL) Shroud is the OEM replacement full bib protective shroud designed for Bullard HMX and HMXi respirator helmets. Constructed from DuPont™ Tychem 4000 (SL) barrier material, this shroud delivers enhanced chemical resistance for workers exposed to more aggressive chemical environments while maintaining full head, neck, and shoulder protection.
When paired with the HMX/HMXi helmet system, the Tychem 4000 shroud supports an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of up to 1,000, providing one of the highest protection levels available in a loose-fitting positive-pressure or supplied-air respirator system. Its quick-attach design allows for fast replacement in multi-user or multi-shift environments, making it ideal for industrial coating facilities, chemical processing, hazardous materials handling, and airborne particulate operations.
