Installation Notes (Critical)

• Main seal and secondary seal must be inserted with the spring facing incoming water.

• When rebuilding shafts:

  • Apply grease on top of bearing.

  • Apply Loctite 680 to outside of bearings before pressure fitting into clean bearing housing.

  • Wipe off excess Loctite.

  • Apply grease to bottom of bearing before installing bottom plate.

• Using a press to install bearings is strongly recommended.
