Short-Cycle System Saver

Short-cycle blasters are designed to handle the demanding effects of quick on-off blasting while maintaining the convenience of a pressure release system.
Standard pressure release (SPR) blasters work well in blast rooms and can automatically refill when connected to an overhead hopper. However, frequent short blasting intervals (under 10 minutes) can cause abrasive overfill, damaging the pop-up and causing sealing issues — leading to abrasive "burping" and premature valve wear.

Pirate Brand Short-Cycle Blasters solve this by remaining pressurized when the control handle is released while including a remote blow-down button for quick depressurization and refilling without leaving the blast area.
